This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful location in Habana Vieja. This is the fourth hotel we have stayed at in Havana and by far the best. The staff were excellent (especially Isabela and her colleagues on reception). Everywhere was spotless. We spent three days here on our honeymoon with our four year old son and everybody made us feel welcome. This hotel is fine for children as long as you are the type of parent that will look after and take responsibilty for your child. There are hazards (such as a marble staircase and plugs without safety guards) but look after your kids and they'll be fine. The rooftop swimming pool has the best view in the city and is not permanently occupied by flight crew. The food is good and they serve an excellent mojito especially upstairs in the pool bar! We are definitely going back but not with Virgin
