On entering our room, despite it being non-smoking there was a distinct smell in the air. On opening a bedside cabinet drawer I found a wet hand towel containing 15 cigarette ends, yes 15, and it was stinking!!
Full marks to the hotel staff we repacked and were moved to another room without question.
On returning that evening from the theatre we noticed we had no coffee for the morning, so reception were contacted but alas they had no access to the coffee, well what do you expect from a 4 star hotel, service?
Overall it's a lovely hotel but it's the little problems that spoil your holiday and it's not exactly a budget hotel.

Just returned from a one night stay at this hotel. It is very conveniently located, just a few steps from the London Underground.
The room was big with a matching size bathroom. Although clean, the decor and furniture was a little dated.
The continental breakfast (which was included in the price we paid) was good with prompt service, despite the hotel being very busy.
Watch the bar prices though.
