Stayed for one week in the Areti in one of the basement apartments. The apartment was basic and functional - if not a little tired and shabby (but then you get what you pay for). The bathroom was cramped and never made you feel refreshed and clean, plus the towels always had a slightly damp smell!
However, despite the basic accomodation the resort/village is lovely.

Clean basic apartment. However beware the Manos brochure description. The apartment block is situated on a very noisy hill on the main road into the village. All night long motor bikes and trucks are revving up the hill. It keeps you awake if you have the windows open. Also the brochure fails to mention that if you have a ground floor studio your view from balcony/terrace is of a wall of the adjoining building 1 metre away. On first floor as we were the building partly obsured the view from our balcony. Second floor apartments are best by far but you still get the noise.
