The Bella Vista Apartments are in a good central location set back from the main road, but close to lots of other apartments and private houses.
The dawn chorus of the cockerels and chickens wasn't too bad from our room (7), but the barking/howling dog kept us awake at night, along with other guests.
Having been incorrectly taken to room 5 by our rep, unpacked and then moved to room 7, I can say there is a big variation in the rooms, but all seem spacious and are kept clean by the staff although not every day, and we didn't have clean towels for the last 4 days.
The pool area and bar are excellent, and well run by Rob, Nicky and helped by Ben. we went to the bbq which was a good way to meet the other guests, most of whom seemed to have been before. the pool although small, is surprisingly deep all over, with just a circular pool for toddlers/non-swimmers, and the pool area is up a steep hill from most of the accommodation.

The apartments are are on a hill and some have spectacular views and are kept clean with maid service every day.
The accomodation is basic but good, a good base to travel from.
The pool is excellent and cared for by the owners very well.

If you can specify what room to have then Room 10, is a must ('room' doesn't do it justice - it's a two bedroomed villa!). The owner has this 'room' during the winter for himself - it's massive. Full kitchen with all mod-cons including washing machine. Separate dining room and lounge (with TV & DVD). Bedrooms are large with patio onto 50 foot balcony which over looks the pool with fantastic views over Kassiopi and the Ionian Sea in the distance. There's also an additional separate bed/settee in the lounge for guests / third couple. Rob, Nic & their son Ben, run the pool area keeping it in fantastic condition as well as organising a BBQ for the guests(a must!). Couldn't have hoped/wished for a better setting and only a 200m or so from the town & Harbour. This is a fantastic venue in a great setting.
