Well situated studios with friendly owners who kept the accommodation pretty clean.Nice garden setting and pool excellent with sunbeds and good toilets.The room was kept very clean and linen changed every two days.Town was only 5/10 minute stroll away and the beach was only 5 minutes away.

We did not stay in these studios but used the pool daily as it was far nicer than ours at our Hotel.The pool area is new, 2 yrs old. The owners were lovely and spoke good English. The area was always clean and food cooked freshly for you. The toilets were spotless and the rooms we could not look at as they were all full.I would go back to this place tomorrow as they made us feel so welcome.
However, there was a wind that blew so strongly that we had to hold on to things so they did not end up in the pool. We did get an excellent tan though!

We had great holidays there.The view from our balcony was amazing.The rooms were cleaned every day and the new pool was incredible.The owners were quite friendly and they were able to talk very good english.In addition in the new pool bar we could have a drink or eat breakfast or lunch.The food is excellent,prepered with fresh and traditional cretan delicacies.The location was also good because we were in beatch with only a 2 minutes walk.We would difenately visit this hotel again.!!!

The studios were dirty I don't think they had been decorated for years. The cleaner came once a week and just brushed the floor and changed the linen, the sinks and shower were filthy, the light fitting was faulty also the kettle in the room was faulty it would not have been safe for anyone with children.
The owner and his wife although friendly could not speak English so asking for anything was a waste of time. We have stayed in Crete many times in the past and are aware that most hotels are basic, but the Irida in our opinion was less than basic.
