Just returned from a two week vacation in Kerala, the second week spent at Marari Beach. I cannot praise the hotel highly enough. The position of the bungalows in the trees is just magical. So many different types of trees and bushes, cashnut trees everywhere, the nuts were collected from the ground every morning by a man from the village.
The beach is reached through an enormous coconut grove, which had sun-loungers and hammocks dotted around, with little flags to erect to get waiter service.
The food was excellent. The Seafood Grill was just wonderful, food and ambience great.
The pool was just an oasis of peace and tranquillity.
