This hotel afforded great views over Lake Garda. This hotel was up a steep hill, but well worth the climb for the view. It was also away from the town if you wanted some peace and quiet. There was a minibus shuttle to the town if you aren't that fit although we never used it.
The food was great and the views from the restaurant were magnificent, you could watch the cable car climb Monte Baldo over in Malcesine as you had your meals!!!!!
The staff were friendly and the service was good. Not many English speaking guests though.
We had a great holiday, this end of Lake Garda was stunning, there was plenty to do if you aren't a pool lizard! Plenty of boat trips and places to visit around the lake. Careful with the buses though there was hardly any information on where to buy tickets etc and if you buy them on the bus they cost a fortune and some of the bus drivers just don't give a damn, they yell at you.
All in all a very pleasant visit, I can't wait to visit this part of Italy again, many happy memories. Wouldn't be the best place for kids though as there wasn't a play area and very little entertainment. Nice piano bar upstairs in the evenings by the pool and downstairs some evenings there were singers. Okay for couples.
