We stayed at the Mandarin for 3 nights after visiting Malaysia. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble. Throughout our stay all the staff called us by name, even down to the doorman.
We did upgrade to club room and this was amazing. Breakfast was served in the private lounge, it had a running buffet and menu selections. We were also served Moet champagne! The attention to detail was faultless.
Afternoon tea was available and this consisted of small pastries and sandwiches, delicious. Between 6 and 8 they had cocktails and canopes. However, it was generally a bar where you helped yourself to what ever drink you wanted, including more champagne!
Our room was huge and spotlessly clean. It had a business sections with all sorts of leads and connections, however, we did not make use of these, but did use the computer in the club lounge which was free access for the first 15 minutes. Would I stay here again? You bet your bottom dolalr I would!!!
