Our stay was the result of a long held ambition for my husband and I. We have visited Singapore on a number of occasions and a stay at Raffles has always been the eventual goal. We stayed for three nights and thoroughly loved it. It is expensive, but we got what we paid for and it is no more expensive than any other 5-star hotel. The service is quite exceptional and the hotel itself is magnificent. It is unlikely that we will ever stay in a better hotel.
We stayed on a "Gourmet" deal which meant that we had breakfast included and also dinner at a choice of restaurants in the hotel. The food was wonderful and the choice at breakfast was almost overwhelming.
I would like to say that we will definitely stay there again but we would have to consider the cost, even though it is worth every penny.

Absolutely fabulous three night stopover stay on our way to Oz...the long bar at night is so much fun.... ate at the seah street deli which was a bit pricey, but excellent quality.. would stay there again without hesitation!!

The Hotel was spotless every detail was attended to.
The food was excellent in all of the restaurants in the hotel. Though if you have a Singapore sling in the long bar it is already made up. Better to have it in one of the other bars.
The location is very central and the doorman will get you a taxi in seconds.
The staff could not be faulted in any way. They even came round and cleaned your sunglasses for you when you were by the pool, how the other half live.
The entertainment was in keeping with a hotel of this standard,live music that seemed to blend into the atmosphere rather than impose on it.
I would visit this hotel again and it is perfect for a special occasion or a once in a lifetime treat.
