Excellent hotel, very clean, very friendly staff,food was exellent, reps very good.
Entertainment was best yet for a holiday hotel, nothing at all to complain about. Dont even have to get up early for a sunbed you will get them anytime off day.
Snorkelling off rocks by hotel is very good.

The hotel was was kept very clean. All areas were cleaned two or three times daily.
The hotel food was excellent so much choice every day.
the location of the hotel was very good plenty of bars and a beatiful beach.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Entertainment could have been better.
We will return to this hotel in the near future.

The hotel food was much to be desired and only luke warm food in the first week. No variety, tinned vegetables and tinned deserts. A couple of occasions the meat was not edible, fatty and only scraps. We then learned that there was a Bug in the hotel and luckily we did not contact this.
I went with another couple who had a twin room and I was in a single. The single was so small I had to re-arrange the furniture so that I did not bang my legs on the suitcase stand when walking from the bed to the bathroom each time. I asked the Thomson Rep for an upgrade to a double room which I was willing to pay for. Nothing was done after seeing him on three separate occasions.
The air conditioning ceiling panel fell when my friend came out of the bathroom narrowly missing her. Ants in the bedroom. Fridge did not work. It took 5 hours for maintenance to fix the ceiling fan in the single room.
On the Friday before we left there were several cockroaches in the swimming pool at 10.30am which maintenance has to scoop out with a net.
There are a lot of steps and the elderly guests did have trouble negotiating these, even round the small pool area.
The entertainment was mostly guest participation with quiz nights.
Needless to say, a complaint letter is being sent to Thomson and this hotel should never have the 4T's Gold status

The hotel and staff were fantastic but dispite this we were both very ill for over two days at different times on the holiday, both of us with very bad stomach pains, sickness and cramps. The hotel staff told us it was a bug on the island but other people in differant hotels had not heard of it . Thompson's are aware of the problem but never informed us on booking. We were asked to stay in the room for two days each and the rooms were dissinfected three times daily. Loads of other guests and thompsons own staff went down with the same illness . Out of a group of ten friends we had made on the holiday and hung around with there was seven`affected in all most were ill for either one or two days and felt unwell for a further day.

The Hotel staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble, the variety of food was excellent and the resturaunt was clean. The Entertainment was satisfactory but could be childish.
I had the bug for 2 days with bad sickness and stomach pains and head ache, although my husband didn't get it. It became apparent during our stay that most parties had someone who came into contact with this vrus and were subsequently ill for a day or 2.
I feel that Thomson's should be warning guests before they travel to this hotel as for people who are already low or frail this bug could prove to be very nasty indeed.
We would return to this hotel if they could sort out the casue of this virus and iradicate it.

Hotel staff excellent. Resort beautiful. However... both my partner and myself caught 'the bug'. We spent 4days out of 7 in the room. When we requested a doctor we immediately were given a letter telling us to stay in our room- not use dining room or pool. Can't fault the hotel staff but felt Thomson should have informed us of the problem as we understand the bug had been in the hotel for months! Looking for some form of compensation for a very sicky holiday!

Hotel was in a lovely setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We travelled with two teenagers unfortunatly there was not much to do in the evenings for them as the local town was very quiet (no discos) adult entertainment at the hotel was excellent. All inclusive drinks option was excellent value for money(12.94 euros a day). The 'bug' was still around a few people had been taken ill however this did not seem to spoil their holidays as the hotel looked after them very well.Hotel was very clean.Food was excellent.Swimming pool was small but the beach was only a short distance away.

Read a lot about 'the bug' before leaving but had no experience of it whilst away. We asked about it at the welcome meeting and they didn't deny that some people had been taken ill but that these were isolated cases & normal precautions should be taken (washing hands before dinner etc). We weren't ill & didn't hear of anyone else being so either.
Hotel was clean & tidy. Staff very friendly & willing to help. Rooms were comfortable and the a/c & ceiling fan were particularly appreciated!
Food was nice & plentiful, and the A La Carte restaurant (which you could visit once a week) made a lovely change.
Being part of the Fiesta group of hotels means you can use the facilities of the other hotels on the island including the restaurants - so great if you've hired a car & are exploring the other resorts, as you can eat elsewhere as part of the halfboard deal.
Entertainment was very much geared towards the older audience, but it was still nice to sit on the terrace with a drink watching it.
We had a peaceful & relaxing holiday & would definately return.

The bug was there in July, (9th - 23rd) I was in bed for two days, my husband did not become ill at all. The reps were adamant it was nothing to do with the hotel but a bug in the area.

Very concerned that THOMSON are failing to advise people about the sickness bug at the hotel cala-llonga before they leave the uk. The bug went through the hotel faster than a speeding bullet dropping people each day including myself.
