We stayed at this hotel Whitsun week and all of our three rooms were on the 7th floor. The rooms were a bit dated but nevertheless clean and tidy. My family had the best room as we had a family room which looked out to the beach/sea and had a very safe large patio area with a patio table and 4 chairs.
All the staff were very helpful.
We could not grumble about the food (we have a couple of fussy eaters)and we always had plenty of choice.
The location of the hotel is excellent, it is almost on the beach.
The swimming pools were great the only niggle was people going down at 7.30 in the morning to put their towels on sunbeds that they did not use until mid-day! But saying that we either managed to scrape 9 beds together or if we could not we went to the beach and paid for sunbeds. If you go to the beach be careful when swimming in the sea as some days there are jellyfish that sting!!
The entertainment on the whole was fine.
We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

The hotel was really clean, all the staff were friendly and the maels were ok.
The couple of downsides were that if the weather was'nt great there was'nt anything to do. The other downside is that the food isnt labeld so you dont know what your eating and there wase'nt much selsction for the kids like pizza, fish fingers, chicken and so on.
Apart from that everything else was fine.

Really clean hotel if a bit dated (lifts break down daily)
Can get very busy at meal times. Food is ok, a little boring but the kids (6 & 3) ate well.
Bar pricey.
Resort lovely and quite great for the kids. Kids mini disco excellent.
Staff so friendly.

Just got back 14.09.05 after 1 week stay all inclusive at Playa Dorada Cala Llonga.
Hotel a bit tired but suited our needs and found it very clean.
The waitresses worked very hard running backwards and forwards during lunch and evening. Being all inclusive we dreaded the usual queues for drinks on a night but with having the waiter service they were there before you had finished your drinks and once they got to know you even knew what you were drinking.
Food was a bit basic if you did not get down early enough for evening meal you tended to miss out on the boiled or mashed potatoes. They possibly think the Brits only eat chips all the time. Again it was waiter service and as soon as you sat down they asked you what you would like to drink.
Ideal location if you want to take young children as no main roads to worry about. Can walk around resort in 15 mins, not for party goers. Very peaceful.
Staff excellent very friendly, most speaking very good English even the cleaners.
Entertainment was ok however the acoustics in room did not do much to enhance the entertainers. There is a chill out room upstairs where Antonio will look after you and speaks excellent English (Looks a bit like Mr.Bean).
I am planning to take my Grandson back next year because of the safety side and would definitely recommend it.

Rooms are on the small side and very basic.
Best views reserved for VIP's as others look out to the hotel sides. Rooms cleaned every day except Tuesday, and to a good standard.
Generally food very basic and repetitive though carvery was nice. Located right on beach, resort is small so not a lot to see unless you go out and about. Very relaxing for those that want this.
Staff cannot be faulted excellent attitude very friendly and welcoming. Entertainment ok for kiddies but not so good for 10+.
Pool side life guard and first aid. downside no lilo's allowed in the pool!

Having stayed in this hotel several times before, we were really looking forward to our holiday. Sadly, standards have slipped and overall we were disappointed with our holiday.
Although the hotel is kept clean, it looks very tired and dated and really needs a complete overhaul. Staying in August, air-conditioning is a must but unfortunately the hotel still has not installed it. Ceiling fans just don't do the job.
Rooms are fairly small and basic but adequate. A nice addition would be a small fridge in each room.
Food was another disappointment - very basic, the same format every evening and all fairly bland. Breakfast was ok but not sure why they felt the need to serve chips most mornings! During dinner tables are not cleared very quickly and several times we had to ask for the table to be cleared of the previous diners' mess before we could sit down. Maybe it would be a good idea to have someone show you to a table when it is ready rather than it just be a free for all.
The location of the hotel is fantastic. It overlooks the beach. The views all around are stunning.

Entertainment is quite patchy. During the day the team organise activities for adults and children and managed to strike a good balance. The adults and children in our party all participated. Evening entertainment was great some nights, other nights it was pretty poor. I'd say a 50/50 split.
I really don't think we would visit again - I think it's time for pastures new.

We have just returned from a 2 week break at this hotel, and had a fantastic time.
The hotel and location could not be faulted.
All the staff including the maids were extremely helpful and very friendly.
The food could not be faulted there was something for everyone, even fussy children.
Entertainment was good although the mini disco did get very repetitive, but all in all an excellent entertainment team.
Would definitely visit this hotel again, great for families.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and it was great fun.
We travelled half board and the food was lovely but if you wanted the food to be very hot you had 2 get down early. Breakfast starts at 8.30 and ends at 10. Get all ranges of food like fry ups and cereal. Dinner was 6.30 till 9. every other day there was a carvery which was gorgeous. Plenty of food to choose from.
Cleaners came everyday except Tuesdays. They were very friendly.
In the time we stayed there we only ever saw 1 cockroach it was so clean there.
Not too busy but not too quiet either. Plenty of bars and places to eat.
There are 2 pools in the hotel which always have lifeguards near by and walking about. Cheap supermarkets near by to buy drinks from. You aren't allowed them around the pool only the hotels but we just bought them anyway and hid them as they were nicer than the hotels drinks.

This was our first family holiday abroad, I loved every minute of it as did my husband and daughter. The weather was great.
The staff where so friendly that when we went into the dinning room we tended to sit in the same place just to get the same waiter as his service was brilliant. The food was lovely even if a bit different and not what was expected at first.
The cleanliness of the hotel couldn't be faulted, but whilst we were there there was a problem with the lift and so had to go up and down stairs, not to good if your disabled, also the only way to get to the beach and pool area is down alot of steeps. Its very close to the beach and shops and also local bus routes.
The hotel staff made us feel so welcome we spent hours talking to them all and in fact we sent them a teddy bear.
The pool at this time of the year was a bit cold, didn't tend to stay in it long and it was also very deep, deeper than what was expected!!!
whilst there we had a drag act which was great. Also the childrens entertainers where so good with the kids, didn't not go to any of the entertainment as it was all good.

The food was spot on. Buffet style with a carvery every other day the kids loved the choice of food as they are fussy eaters.
The hotel was kept lovely and clean with linen change more often than it says in the brochure. The hotel is located right on the beach with fantastic views, up a slight hill at entrance to hotel but coach drops right outside door.
All of the staff were very polite and helpful. The entertainment was every night in the hotel and daily activities around the pool which has lifegaurds. 2 large pools and a smaller seperate pool for children/toddlers.
There are steps from the pool area leading down to the beach. This hotel was great, but more suitable for families with children aged about3 to 12 my kids were a bit old for the entertainment.we still had a fantastic holiday.
