Es Cana is a busy but quiet little holiday resort for those who like to sit and drink of an evening or enjoy karaoke, bingo etc. Amusement rides for kids.There are quite a few shops open late for those who don't enjoy this sort of entertainment. Also good coastal walks. A good family resort. Not a large resort. Beach noisier and busier than neighbouring Santa Eulalia 10 minutes away by bus. Do not take the airport bus to get there as the price doubles for the 10 minute journey. Santa Eulalia is a little more sophisticated with a fairly quiet beach on a week day. No rows of loungers on its beach. Just holidaymaker's own umbrellas. We like that. Easy entrance to sea in both resorts and clear water at shore. The marina there gave the resort a more upmarket feel than Es Cana. Lovely green hills surround it and its bay is very sheltered. Very green and picturesque countryside around the local area if you take the land train or go for a walk. Beaches in both resorts were backed by little cafes and beachfront shops.
