We booked three nights at Lux Mar apartments as we had come over on the ferry from the mainland for the weekend and wanted somewhere to use as a base. This was the second time I have stayed at Lux Mar so I knew what to expect. The Apartment complex is definately value for money. The rooms are basic but clean. The location is good, a short walk brings you to a little promanade with some nice restaurants and small beach. The apartments are situated right under a flight path however this did not pose too much of a problem. Past reviews have reported lots of noise from other guests, however, I have not experienced this on either of my stays. The staff are quite helpful and friendly. The pool areas are spacious and clean. One down side was the difficulty getting a cab into town however a short walk down the road usually resulted in one being found!! I probably would not recommend the apartments to families but it is an ideal base for groups of young people looking for a cheap holiday. I would definately recommend these apartments and would not hesitate to stay at the Lux Mar again.

Large complex with 3 blocks of apartments all overlooking a big pool in the middle.
Location is excellent as only 5/10 mins walk to Ibiza Town and 5 mins walk the other way to Figueretes. Also if you walk for about 15/20 mins along the beach you come to Bora Bora - which is a must!
Our room was clean and spacious, towels changed daily, air con was a god send and we had great views of the pool and the sea.
The only thing about this hotel is the noise of the other guests. It must have been about 80% young male Italians who appeared never to leave their rooms but yet sit on the balcony playing loud music at all hours - what is the point of coming to Ibiza? The walls are quite thin betweens rooms and there were loads of parties in the rooms etc
We came to Ibiza for the clubbing but when you are trying to catch up on a bit of sleep the noise is really annoying, you are better to go sleep on the beach!
Staff were OK but the reception was really busy and it just seemed like they wanted to answer your question ASAP and move onto the next person. Also getting a taxi from here is a nightmare, so best to walk into town.
