This is not a resort as such. There is a hotel next door (Maioris) but other buildings seem to be residential or holiday apartments (some still being built). There is a small "mall" a few minutes walk away with a few shops, bars and restaurants, and another new one up the road which is more commercial with a supermarket.

The whole area is very clean and tidy though with an up market feel, as there are even security gatehouses on the main roads in!

There is no beach, but the hotel does provide a bus to their beach club (which we didn't visit)

You will not come across any stereotypical "brits abroad" here, probably because there are no loud clubs, themed pubs etc, which for us, is a major plus. Quiet, quiet, quiet is the theme, perfect for total relaxation.

Nearby cove is very rocky and involves a steep winding hill.Some local shops and restuarants{Ca"s Bergants upstairs in precinctfantastic service and food at very reasonable price}
No bus on Sundays, and taxi has to be ordered if you need to go into Arenal.

A rural location away from the hustle and bustle, but that also means you have no escape from a poorly managed and lacklustre hotel.

Location is well away from Arenal, there are a few shops a 200 metre walk away for papers etc but there is a free bus and a local bus which goes quite regularly for 1 euro each. We did that and it was great- the beach there is lovely with loads of bars and shops to look at. We had a few down by the beach and then got taxi back about 18 euros I think. Hotel also very close to airport so get your own taxi – expect to pay about 20 euros.
