Very nice hotel but needs a good revamp.

Had a good time there but the only thing that puts the hotel down was the food was not much to choice from same things most of the time everything else about the hotel was good, not far from shops and beach all the staff are very good at the jobs and also very good for kids.

The room was well equipped and very large. Two bathrooms, large balcony, tv. Cleaned daily

We were in block c opposite the entertainment, this was a mistake as it goes on until 11pm and is extremely noisy even with all windows and doors closed.

My suggestion is to try and request block A fab sea views from the 3rd floor.

80% German clients but did not cause any problems as most of them spoke good English.

You can have all inclusive for 25Euro per adult and half price for children.

I would visit again but not block C.

We looked at all the review sites for this hotel and it seemd ok so we booked for 1 week June 25th to July 3rd 2005.
On arrival at 8pm we were shown a dingy basement room that you had to shoulder barge the door open to get into. The only bedroom was located next to the stair well so anybody going up and down the stairs could be heard. Especialy if drunk. Echoing door slamming was prominent.
The room was very hot had no microwave, kettel adequate cups and saucers, plug for sink, wonky cupboard doors that would not shut and was in a state of needing a complete overhaul. It did not feel clean at all.
The room opened onto a brick wall with a small patio. You could hear the people next door changing their monds they were that close!

The patio doors could be shut but the shutters that overlaped them could not be locked so my children were worried about their safety and we were worried about security.
We made our mind up very quickly that we felt the room was sub standard. I went to reception and asked to be moved but the receptionist just shouted at me "full up" so I asked for the notice board with all the rep/contact numbers on on, but she did not understand what board I was talking about. I showed her the letter from the booking company. She said they have no board. I then asked for the manager. She said he is off till Monday. I asked for a fan as the room was very hot and for security reaons we did not want to leave the patio doors open as my childrens bed was the sofa in the same room. She said they did not supply fan's. I asked if the shutters could be fixed and at last , she arranged this with the repair man. I waited in reception for him and we both tried to get into the apartment but had to shoulder barge the door to get in.
After about 20 mins he fixed the shutters.

After a walk around the pool that smealt of urine, we decided to stay one night as it was very late at this stage. As we retired to bed my wife smealt burning and I traced this to the bedside lamp that were rated at 40watt bulbs but had 60watt bulbs in and were red hot.

The noise in the night was loud with drunks sitting/singing and shouting on the wall outside the reception which was just above our patio.

In the morning I made tea in a saucepan that i aslo boiled the water in. Only one cup and saucer was in the cupboard so we shared it.

As no sink plug was present I washed up in the saucepan.

The previous night I wrote to the contact on my letter via email because she did not return my telephone calls, saying we would book out on the Sunday if we did not hear from someone ASAP.

This we did and thus far i have been offered

The hotel itself on a whole is not bad, we had previously visited 3 years ago and had a brilliant holiday but when we arrived this year we were greeted with a hotel full of Germans and then later found out we were the only English family there. At the beginning of the year a German company had purchased the property and it seems that they have no intentions of making the English welcome adults and children alike, no attempts were made for the kids for them to join in on the activities as they would not attempt to speak in English to them. Beware too if you have any ideas of having a good time in the evening because bright and early next morning you are awakened with entertainment staff bellowing out over the tannoy very annoying German songs which could only be described as one of their worst attempts at the eurovision song contest

We had wonderful family holiday here in a group of 4 adults and 6 kids.

Were lucky with the location of our apartments, got one on the ground floor and one on the first floor just above it. The apartments were large, very nicely furnished, each with 2 bedrooms, large living room with a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Entering the room on the arrival, we were amazed by the beautiful sea view. From the ground floor, we had easy access to one of the swimming pools, and luckily it was the smaller one, thus not as busy and noisy as the other part of the complex where all the animations took place the whole day round (and it was all in German, no English, as far as we could notice).

I think the experience with this hotel can vary depending on which apartment you get (and as I said we were lucky with ours!)

All our kids are very good swimmers thus it did not matter that the access to the sea by the hotel is via a ladder only (or you can just jump down from the rocks -which we all enjoyed). Anyway, a sand beach is in a 5 mins walking distance, it you prefer it.

We were on half board, the food was excellent.

We did not find any restaurant close by to have lunch, but it did not matter, if hungry, we cooked something light for lunch - the kitchen was very well equipped.

In this group, we found it a very good combination - half board with good kitchen facilities in the apartment.
