Cala n blanes is a nice clean place but I would say more for the older end as there isn't anything to do and kids can get a little fed up of having to walk into los delfines every day and night.

The area surrounding the hotel is very quiet, although there is a supermarket 2 minutes walk away. The main town is a 10 minute walk away which has everything you would expect. We were happy with the location.
The beach cove is beautiful and is right next to the hotel.

Not loads around hotel, few bars and shops. 10 minute walk into Cala'n Forcat, which has bars, waterpark, restaurants,and even a Morrisons.

Cala n blanes is a fantastic resort for familys who are looking for a relaxing break.
There are a few shops across the road from the hotel,but los delfines which is five minutes walk away has alot more to offer.
Ciutadella is a 10 minute bus ride costing 1.30 euros each way children under 4 go free.the bus stop is just across the road from the hotel.you will need to go here to get cigarrettes if you smoke as the local shops are no longer allowed to sell them.The beach was always very clean and tidy,but look for the lifeguard flag if it is red beware of the jellyfish.this is a really pretty place and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Ive been to this resort many times and find it excellent evert time.
A fantastic family run resort with loads to do. The larger of the beaches is great but I think 2nd beach at Cala n Forcat need some work. Although it looks as though someone is already addressing this as new steps have been put there.

The resort of Cala Blanes is small, but we strolled into Cala n Forcat most nights, were there was everything you could want, plenty of restaurants and shops, lots for the kids to do, would definately recommend.

A brilliant resort. Very laid back,
And ideal for families

A super little train that runs anround the resort, so this gives a good view of all of cala'n blanes.
Some beautiful properties,
would definatly go back to this resort again.

Calan Blanes is generally well kept, apart from a few uneven pavements, lovely shrubery as you walk into Calan Forcat/Los Delfines.
Aqua park definatley worth a visit 9 euro for kids and 15 for adults, we thouroughly enjoyed it. some good shops, bouncy castle and trampolines but not a great choice.
Beach just 2 minutes down steps from the hotel or maybe 5 mins down the lane if you have buggy or wheelchair. You will need some shoes for in the water as a lot of stones and rocks as you get further out. If you have a fish phobia keep out of water some fish were as long as 12" swimming around you which was quite scary for the kids.
Check out the treasure island beach hut on the beach very very friendly excellent food and live footy what more do you want!!

The beach area and sea were not very clean with lots of litter around and at one point a dead birds 's remains floating in the sea. The resort had a couple of nice beach bars with a guitarist on several nights.

Cala'n Blanes is a quiet residential location adjacent to the beach that is extremely safe and where you can say Hola to local people as they walk their dogs in the early evening. There are a few bars in the immediate vicinity and a chippy. It is an easy stroll to the livelier Cala'n Forcat and offers something for everybody.
