santa ponsa is a great resort lots to do at night and the irish pubs are brill but if you are not into the irish scene there is lots more to do the beach is clean but it will cost you 9 euro to hire out 2 chairs

A good resort, with something for everyone, from the lively night life in the irish quarter to the other side with bars and restaurants.
The beach is lovely and clean, and the trees surrounding the beach are filled with beautiful exotic birds.
Try go when the festival of the giants are on, what an outstanding week with festivals and street parties, amazing.
Santa ponsa is a good base for public transport links, to get you anywhere easily in Majorca. 15 mins from the airport and the fabulous capital city.
The beach is lovely and clean, and the trees surrounding the beach are filled with beautiful exotic birds.

The beach was always full, and two hot, but if thats what you like doing then you're ok.

The resort of Santa Ponsa is lovely but very very Irish and Scottish and I would go back but to a different hotel on the other side of the resort. The best bar for families is Bar Code 7 with terrific entertainment every night. The beach is gorgeous but do NOT BUY WATERMELON OR SOFT DRINKS ON THE BEACH. They conned us out of £18.00 for two tiny pieces of it! Get it from the supermarket. Fat Sam's has the very best food but get there early as it is always packed.

Santa Ponsa is an incredible resort and is fantastic for families, we have come here for our summer holidays with the kids every year for the past 5 years.
If you have children I would recommend the Pirates show which is fantastic and the bus tour of Palma. Golf Fantasia and Western Water Park and Aqualand were other highlights of our holiday this year.
We like to keep fit so we usually buy a short term membership for the Santa Ponsa country club. However, we will not be doing this this year as we have been told that over the past couple of months the Club has really gone down hill. we ate in the restaurant 2 weeks ago and it was abismal. the outdoor pool was full of drunk english magaluf type teenagers. shame.

Santa Ponsa is a great family resort and is not too far from the airport. We have now visited the resort twice in the last 3 years and would deffo go again in the future. I know its not in Santa Ponsa but budget for a trip to the Pirates Adventure Show (Magaluf), its not cheap but worth every penny (the foods not great though).

The resort is beautiful and clean and has everything you need to enjoy your holiday, gorgeous beach, fantastic nightlife and loads to see and do.
The main strip has some brilliant bars, nightclubs and restaurants for young people, very Irish and alot of fun especially Durty Nellys. The Square is ideal for older people, couples and families; and for clubbers there is always Magaluf just a short taxi ride away. This was the ideal location for a single girly holiday and I would definatly stay here again.

The resort is kind of in two halves, the quiet side and the lively side, both are very good. We used to have a drink in the Jaggy Thistle which has quite a good lady singer and then at midnight its karioke. There are loads of green parrots flying around near the beach.

The Square was excellent with a different show each night. The stage is moved regularly so that each bar within the square gets the best view. Preferred this area to the main centre which was very Irish orientated and very commercial. We don't like the beach but did have a look - it looked clean!

We found the resort to be very clean especially the beach area which was lovely. There where lots of little bars around the beach area which were clean and most relatively cheap. Plenty of bars with entertainment during the evening time like karaoke, singers, hypnotists etc. If you have children with you then Flozzies is a good place for them. It has treasure hunts, Deal or no deal, internet access, WII,x box etc and is open till 3am. Strings was another bar which had evening entertainment and the week we were there a great group were on the nights we went..3 lads and 3 girls...singing motown etc and were excellant. I dont think id visit the resort again only because its quite a small resort and I feel we'd seen all of it.
