I stayed in the hotel Tarmariscos. I found the hotel staff to be extrmely friendly, willing to help and generous.
The entertainment was on 6 days a week which must have been tough for the "animators" (entertainment crew) but each night they gave a fabulous performance for the children!
The cleaners were lovely and even agreed to come back later when my teenagers had had a "night on the tiles".
I would definitely visit this hotel again as I had the best holiday of my life thier and I think my family would agree.

Had to change to this holiday from Barbados at the last minute as I found out I was 2 months pregnant and couldn't cope with a long flight. Definitely relaxing and quiet which was what we needed. However, we weren't told that it was mainly German orientated. The kids club was in German although they did translate into broken English after. Apart from ourselves, there were just 2 other English families.
The views from our rooms were amazing - straight out onto the pool and across to the beach and sea. The rooms were really spacious, with a large bedroom, fairly large bathroom, kitchen with a dining table and a living area. TV was free and had a load of English sky channels. Some of the staff were friendly although we did encounter some abruptness from one of the receptionists. The cleaning staff were very pleasant. However, a maintenance man did walk straight into our room without knocking or any prior warning. Found this incredibly rude and off-putting.
Although we were self catering, we did eat in the hotel restaurant a couple of times. Typical buffet style dinner - salad, paella, chips, fruit, meat (varied each time). Plenty to eat but found it to be a bit more expensive than going out into the resort. To eat in the day, we went across the road to a little bar that had a caf

We had a two bed apartment with fabulous views. The beach was so close as was the marina with plenty of bars and excellent restaurants. A very good place for families.
The apartments were spacious and clean. The reception staff were very helpful unlike our tour rep.
There is a small land train outside the complex which takes you to the next resort.
There is also a regular and cheap bus service outside.
I would recommend these apartments and would have no hesitation in staying in them again.

We stayed here in June of this year (2002) and what a fantastic holiday we had. Everything about the holiday was just perfect and we've already booked to go back there next year- we've even requested the same room!! The location is brilliant with the beach literally on the doorstep and the marina with all the restaurants is just so easy and convenient to get to with lots of street entertainment ie human statues, artists etc. We ate out for 14 nights in 14 different eateries and never had a bad meal. We found the hotel to be clean and very friendly. The staff were brilliant and were always willing to help, nothing was too much trouble. Facilities in the hotel were great with entertainment 6 nights per week and lots of things for the children to do. There was a childrens club twice each day, crazy golf, table tennis,a playground, 2 seperate swimming pools and paddling pools all for free!! We were in C BLOCK where a lot of the rooms have a sea view and most ground floor apartments have a big walled and grassed patio which was lovely for little ones. It truly was brilliant.
