We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel and we found the staff to be really friendly and helpful.

The entertainment staff were loved by all the children and they managed to keep them busy during the day with lots of games etc.

The food was very good considering it was a 3 star rating each day the meals were varied and some nights there were theme nights.

The only negative comment I would make is the way we were ushered out of the bar area at midnight regardless of whether you had finished your drink or not.

We would visit this resort and hotel again

It was about 1 o'clock in the morning when we arrived. My husband is disabled and rides a scooter which we took with us and so we were given a downstairs room which was not big enough for us to move around in and certainly would not accommodate the small scooter. Our daughter's room was a bit bigger but not much so we swopped. The bed in our room was worn out with springs poking through the mattress so we had very little sleep that night because the lady on reception spoke hardly any English and we are not so good at Spanish either so we waited to complain the next morning. The mattress was quickly changed for a new one. I would say the rooms were dire. My daughter's room had a hole in the ceiling to the outside! The water would not drain away for ages in our bath and the bath was rusty. There was little point in asking for a change in rooms as it became apparent that the hotel was overbooked as people were complaining at being booked in to apartments across the road. However the maids did a brilliant job at keeping the place clean under the circumstances. It became apparent later in the holiday that we had been booked in to the staff quarters. Our view from the balconies was of the bus stop across the road and a gas tank. We decided to make the most of it and see our rooms as somewhere to lay our heads. The poolside was not cleaned up regularly and so there were sticky patches which were not very pleasant when you stood on them.

The food in the Hotel can only be described as brilliant. Breakfast was very English which I personally do not like but there were cakes and croissants cheeses meats and bread. Also fruit and yoghurts. Buffet lunch and dinner you could not fault. So much choice and really well cooked and hot. Salads were really varied. We only stayed a week and we are all half a stone heavier despite our long walks (well ride in my husbands case).

The location of this Hotel is second to none. Straight off the poolside and on to the beach which has a lifeguard. You can see that in it's day this hotel would have been first class. Could be again with the right refurbishment.

The staff were great even though some of them spoke neither English or Spanish. One of the bar staff told us he came from the Sahara. Luckily my husband knew a little of his language. If you asked you got. Most of the staff were I would say extremely helpful.

Entertainment.......Great if you are three to seven years old. The place was inundated with kids. I like kids but I do draw the line at the number that were there at the same time as us. We went to bed or to the marina after dinner because of the noise and the lack of supervision of a lot of the parents. This really spoilt our holiday especially when my husband got hit over the head by a snooker cue being bandied about by a small child. It was really noisy parents didn't put them to bed. They were still around at midnight. One other thing that spoiled our holiday was the problem getting a sunbed down by the pool. People were putting towels out to reserve them very early even if they didn't want to use them that day. I got up one morning in the end to do the same at 6 a.m. but I was still too late. It's for these reasons we would not go there again which is such a shame because on the whole we quite enjoyed our holiday because of the location and the food. Summing up if you are a couple or adults with children over ten forget it. I would recommend it to younger families with kids that are prepared to involve themselves in all the entertainment.

We booked this holiday based on previous reports so it may be that we were just a bit unlucky that there were so may kids (the week after the school holidays).
Also Fabio is no longer there. Hugo is the entertainer now and he is Portugese and a great guy.

Final note this is not a good place for disabled people. Ramps around the hotels, bars and shops but none on the pavements which are very very high.

Returned last week from a 2 week stay at the Hotel Cala'n Bosch. Great holiday. Room was on the 5th floor overlooking the sea, fantastic views.

Food was excellent plenty of choice and varied so even at the end of the 2 weeks there was still different dishes to try (although desserts were repetitive). Staff in the restaurant great, always found you a table and if one needed to be cleared it happened instantly, and plenty of highchairs available.
The snacks that were available had to be eaten in the restaurant and could not be taken outside. The same goes for the ice cream so you did end up paying for ice lollies at the bar (ice lollies cheaper at the bar at the Marina apts opposite hotel)

One thing that shocked us was the price of the safe 44 euro's plus 10 euro's deposit for 2 weeks (sure we only paid 20 odd in Cala'n'Forcat last year).

The room was basic and yes there were tiles chipped in the bathroom but they were cleaned everyday and for the time we spent in them it didn't bother us.

Husband enjoyed the daytime activities of rifle shooting / darts etc.

Our 2 year old loved the circle pool next to the big one, and we found there was plenty of room for him to play next to the sunbeds without feeling that he was too close to the pool.

Excellent access to the beach, we used to leave our things by the pool and 'pop' down to the beach.

Childrens disco good, although at the end of 2 weeks you found yourself humming some really annoying songs.
Bingo takes a while as it caters for all the nationalities staying at the hotel.
Didn't get to see all the evening entertainment as we used to take our son up to bed (along with a couple of drinks from the bar). Evening programme runs for 2 weeks so again not repetitive.

One thing the hotel or reps don't tell you is when you are leaving if you have an early pickup the restuarant will be open for you for cereal, the coffee and juice machines are also on. Handy to see when people are on early pickups if you want a cuppa before the restaurant or bar officially open at 8.

Bus stop right outside the hotel over the road, bus runs every 15 minutes to Ciudadella.

Have to say my parents joined us for the 2nd week and after a 15 hour delay from Newcastle they were put into the same type of room as the Miller party. I have never seen a hotel room so small or grotty. When they requested a move they were told the hotel was fully booked but they could go to the Marina Apts. They were given a studio that was much bigger, great balcony, no air conditioning but they do give you a fan, but you also get the added advantage of the fridge, microwave, kettle etc.

Would definately go back to this hotel but as it was our first time doing all inclusive I would like to try AI somewhere else first.

We loved this holiday, we arrived on the day it re-opened and there was only 30 guests (total run of the place), I too was not looking forward to going after reading reviews on this site but on the whole we had a brilliant holiday.

Food was excellent but ok for my wife who is vegi, the entertainment was good, ran by Hugo and his team and the bar staff were excellent even though they only spoke very little english.

The location was outstanding with views from the room of the harbour or the beach on the other side.

My only recommendation is get a hire car and explore this wonderful island and go early season to avoid the crush.

First time abroad with 2 young children. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Girls loved the kids pool at the back, couldn't get them out!

Beautiful location, short walk to Marina that didn't tire them out too much. Beach very close, clean and excellent sand to make sandcastles.

Only complaint we have is the food - girls very fussy and no children's menu was available until the last night. Was hard to find things they liked. Coffee is horrible! Very strong and funny taste. We had wine instead!! If you stay all inclusive you are limited to the alcohol you can have - local stuff only.

Very clean, excellent maid service. Staff were lovely and helpful.

Would definitely go back to this hotel again - once the girls are older and not so fussy!

On arrival the hotel looked dated to others in the resort but the reception area was very nice with a friendly face to greet you.

The rooms where a bit dated and could do with refurbishment along with the bathrooms but it was all nice and clean.

Breakfast was bacon eggs and all the usual along with cold meats and cheese's.

Dinner was between 1 and 3 with lots of choice and the evening meal was between 7 and 9 again there was lots to choose from. None of us tired of the food.

The location and staff could not have been better anywhere you are just four steps from the beach and the harbour is about three minutes away what more could you ask for!!!

Entertainment was one night professional show and one night hotel staff put on a quiz or something like not bad at all.

I would recommend this holiday to anyone who just needs a peaceful break.

We found the hotel clean, adiquite and good value for the money payed. Being a 3 star hotel we were not expecting it to be brilliant. The food was good, there was something for everbody. The hotel entertainment during the day was excellent, somenting for the adults and children to do all day. The people that worked for the hotel entertainment were very friendly and tried to speak as much English as possible. The atmosphere was very welcoming. I would visit the hotel again as it had something to offer for everyone. I woukd like so say thankyou to Fabio, Sergio and Corral for being so friendly and for entertaining everyone.

We visited this hotel in July this year and were very impressed with it from the moment we arrived. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughtout and all the staff were friendly - once again putting us Brits to shame by speaking fluent English!
Having 2 fussy children food is always a worry but they always found something they enjoyed at all meal times. Manuel the Maitre 'D was on hand to guide evryone to an appropriate table. Food was not allowed out of the restaurant safe public areas especially the pool.
Our room was cleaned to a high standard.
Fabio really made our holiday and whenever we hear "Cha cha cha!" we have a smile on our face!
Go there and have fun - the views are lovely, the beach is spotless and onhand and the marina is close by too - a definite for all the family
