* Varied choice of bars and restaurants - drinks prices varied but not disimilar to England
* No real "entertainment" - focus on eating and drinking
* Boat trip worthwhile - go in a morning to avoid the heat and be prepared to carry little ones at the other end - over the rocks. Buggies not advised!
* Lots of cash points with good exchange rates
* Car hire expensive in resort - BOOK BEFORE YOU GO we saved £80 for 1 week!
* Nice beach - worth a wander over the headland
* Hipermarket near Cuidadella a must for self caterers - local supermarkets quite expensive
* More suited to couples and families
* Brochure hype about a large, bustling resort is misleading. Fairly quiet but we loved it.

Cala n bosch Lovely resort, lots of restaurants, few shops but quite a variety. Beaches clean, manned by a lifeguard and he did make sure if people were safe. Hire of sunbeds is quite high though. Lots of car hire places around and those wonderful bike shops .no tobacca shop there, one in cuitedella cheaper than the shop posing as one. Change was easy to get we got ours at the marina as the rates were better than the the hotel but they do charge commission, it was still more than hotel. The resort came alive in the evening with street sellers and shops all open. we went late in the year and it was still lively

very nice resort, ideal for familys.
great choice of places to eat and staff always friendly and great with kids.
nice small cove beach approx 10 min walk from centre of resort.
larger beach with watersports etc approx 25 minute walk.

Cala n'bosch is lovely and picturesque. The marina is delightful setting with restaurants and bars built around it. It was a lovely walk at night. The beach was clean but narrow so it was full every day but it dident stop us from going. We went to the marked one day in Cuitadella - not really worth the trip - I saw nothing of great value that wasent in the resort itself. We liked Cala n'bosch.

Great place but sun bed beach hire really seriously expensive for a day.
Family friendly resort - not enough to do for teenagers after meal and late on.-
The massage parlour near by is really unnecessary as is the sex shop - it's not a problem as such but it is ridiculosuly out of character for a family resort

Calan Bosch has changed a lot over the years and we were not so keen the last time we went. Probably because we were bored as we had been 4 times. It is getting very busy. But we found nice places to eat, as long as you're not looking for Haute Cuisine. We particulary liked El Patos .Only small but plenty of bars. No discos really only one small "club".

Was a good resort with shops near but not right on top of you. Beach is small but there are great beaches near by.
A short walk from the hotel is the marina bars and resterants plenty.around the corner from the hotel you have the choice of too small beaches, both are ok, but dont compare to calladelgarna which is a must day owt while there.A short bus ride to cutadela you can have a look around the shops and harber,we had a pint at the harber itself and paid more than in uk,then after a walk back to bus stop asked and found we had a half hour wait, thus we walked into nerby bar,which was set backabit orderd a round which was brought to us with complementary snacks the tab was so cheap i thought we were in turkey.
We stayed at the resort Cala'N Bosch. We walked to two beaches, both a little on the small side but the children enjoyed them. The walk to the marina was well worth the visit. Children can have their hair braided here. Lots of bars and restaurants around this area for a lovely evening. We would strongly recommend you hire a car and visit more of the island. Particulary Cala Galdana, this has a large sandy beach and clear blue sea. Very picturesque. We will be returning in May 2004 and hope to visit more of the beaches in Menorca.
