Cuitadella is a nice place with plenty of restaurants and shops. the harbour is busy. Take time to view the sights and the Cosmos tours are quite full and resonable. Didn't see much of Cuitadella as we couldn't leave the hotel unless we took a taxi, but it seemed very nice as we passed through.

When they say that Ciutadella is quiet they mean quiet. The centre around the square and along the cobbled streets is quite pleasant, the market on Friday is nothing to get excited about. The port/harbour area is good at night and there are plenty of fish resturants where you can get a very good meal and the atmosphere down there is good. Its worth the walk even if you don't eat there.
The so called beach a short walk away - is by no means a beach and looks as though it has been damaged by some sort of polution and not been cleaned up - sort of a sewer outlet by the looks of it.
Best bet is to take a bike out and get around - this is about as exciting as it gets!

Ciudadela is a lovely town.Situated on a picturesque harbour with lovely seafood restaurants.We first visited there 18 years ago and on returning this year,was pleasantly surprised to find little change,very unusual for a Med.resort.
The town is lovely and clean and litter free almost,the locals are very friendly.
There is no beach,the nearest one is a drive away.

Go to Cala'n Bosch its a beautiful place and has a lovely little shopping complex to walk around,and also has a nice restaurants and bars that overlook the harbour.

ciudadella is a wonderful area to explore with narrow winding streets and bars the harbour has some excellent seafood restaurants and stunning views
