Very expensive but well worth the cost if you want a very quiet break away from the masses. The rooms are very large and have everything you could possibly want in them. If there is something extra you want then it can usually be hired at reception i.e. kettle, nappy bin, highchairs, buggy etc.

Don't let the high cost lull you into thinking this will mean fewer kids as I think all the guests here bar one or two had very young children with them. This means that although the suites have a private pool it is quite noisy some days with little children. The sound of a baby screaming is pretty much the routine background noise.

Rooms are cleaned every day in minute detail and we often had to put the 'do not disturb' light on just so the babies could nap. Your towels are replaced every day whether or not they are dirty. You get 4 beach towels in your room so no need to pack any.

The food is fantastic. The head waiter shows you how the buffet works on your first night so you don't end up wandering around like a plonker. Each night you get a choice of 3 fish and 3 types of meat which are cooked in front of you. There are various other options around as well and there are happy to cook up a little something for the babies too. Breakfast is served from 8am to 11am and includes drinks whereas dinner is served 7pm to 10pm but doesn't include your drinks. If you don't finish a bottle of wine they keep it for you for the next night. Be warned - if you are planning to use the restaurant highchairs then take a harness as my 1 year old twins could climb out of them. Lunch is taken either at the pool bar or a couple of other places which we never went to. You get given a hotel charge card which means you don't need cash at all within the Prestige complex.

All the staff were very polite and friendly (our cleaner was a bit mardy but she did have to clean up after 2 babies). We didn't try any of the entertainment so can't comment.

My main reason for booking this hotel was that I wanted to be able to sunbathe outside my room whilst the babies slept. You get 2 loungers in each suite so this was possible. We had 1 day of bad weather, the rest of the time it was sweltering with a lovely breeze. I would visit again if I was feeling rich enough.

Prestige means PRESTIGE when you visit this hotel.

The rooms are of the highest standard ,clean and very well equipped ,cooker,fridge,microwave/grill,extactor fan all in one cupboard sounds odd but looks fantastic next to the pull down bed with 8 inch mattress, very comfortable or so my son says ,the other bed was a fold-out settee of high quality. Nno need to tell you how they work as maids will come and put them out for you while you are at dinner or just after you arrive back . The t.v. cabinet has 20" t.v. and house the mini bar ,air-conditioning is standard throughtout with seperate controls for main area and bedroom.

The bedroom is big and has to be to house the biggest 4-posted bed I have ever slept in (awoke during the night and it took me 5mins to find the wife at other end of bed) cupboard space is large and also houses the t.v. for the bedroom ,the writing bureau is just the right size not to look out of place.

The bathrooms - 1st bathroom is a showeroom attached to main living area with shower, toilet and wash hand basin of good standard the en-suite bathroom is just like room large houses 2 wash hand basins toilet and bidet and a hydro-shower(7 shower heads) large enough for 2 and large jacuzzi bath and last and not least a phone next to toilet (just incase you need room service while in the toilet).

Terrace area has table and 3 chairs plus 2 sun loungers(metal) with thick mattres.

The prestige complex has its own pool and pool-bar and reception josphina (hope this is spelt correctly) the receptionist is fantastic and very helpful.

MEALS - buffet breakfast a wide choice of dishes fron cereals to bacon, eggs, sausages to cheese and ham all of good quality oh yes, did I forget to say champange is also available for a bucksfizz if you want it.

EVENING DINNER - there a many descriptions I could give you but this is starting to sound long winded I will use one word to discribe it FANTASTICCCC!

Attached to the Prestige is the club complex which is large and has many facilities tennis courts, indoor pool.outdoor pools, basketball court, football pitch squash courts, gym, kids clubs various ages very large bar saloon with stage for evening shows also has the Faro disco sited at far end of complex but cant say anything about it as we did not visit it (but we also did not hear any noise from it).

The suites are breathtaking and have their own private pool and restaurant. The sunlongers on teh balconies are colossal and make for a superb relaxing family break. Expensive but highly recommended.
