lovely quiet peacfull friendly place to stay!

Where was this beach that everybody keeps talking about? We never found it.
The evening entertainment was almost non-existing. We took the bus to Los Christianos each night for only 1Euro 20Cents each-unfortunately it meant spending quite a bit on taxis on the return journey as the last bus was about 11PM. Expect to pay around 15Euros for a taxi-that's a lot when you do it every night!
I think all the muggings were actually the drunken pensioners ( and believe me it's full of them). We never saw anything.

The resort again was clean. We saw occasional cockroaches, but apparently that is part of Tenerife.
There was entertainment available, and Las Americas/Los Cristianos is only a bus/taxi ride away. There are plenty of cash machines/chemists/supermarkets/restaurants nearby.
The beach is black sand and clean, the sea can be choppy.
We would recommend 'The Local' for English and Childrens Food and 'Peking Garden' for Chinese. They are next door to each other and will let you put tables together and order from both. A fantastic but quiet place for families

The resort was very quiet, with a few bars and restaurants. Probably better for families although again there was no real entertainment. The beach, well there wasn't one. However a short bus ride will get you to los Cristianos and Playa de la americas where you can party all night. The beaches are nice and there are more retaurants and bars than you will ever need. My overall thoughts is that Tenerife is like being in England with the added bonus that the weather is great.

The resort is forty minutes from any day or nightlife. It is very quiet more for the elderly (plenty of bingo ) everywhere.
There are many restaurants which offer very good value and offer very good food.
The local English community where very friendly and we made many friends, but again most bars are English and where not very busy.
There is no beach only cliffs, but if you travel to the local town fifteen minutes walk away there is a stoney beach situated within a quiet harbour.

Costa del silencio is a lovely quiet place to stay, yet with good nightlife. The food was cheap and overall a good cheap holiday!

up and coming resort will be going back in a few years to see how its took off las galletas is nice mainly spanish very cheap to eat and drink
No beach to speak of, rock coastline. All entertainment appeared to be too smutty for us and the english bars were raucous and noisy. We just sauntered into local bars and had a quiet chat and watched the world go by.
