After booking an allocation on arrival, we landed in Tenerife not sure what to expect. My friend and I were just looking for a quiet weeks rest with no kids or husbands. We arrived at the hotel after about an hour and a half's journey.
Check in was very quick and efficient, the complex is huge there are four swimming pools,(only one is heated, for reference it is the top one) staggered throughout the complex, it is built on a hill.
The room was very nice, bedroom, and bathroom with good shower, and open plan kitchen-living room and a balcony with furniture. The room was clean and as it got colder at night times extra blankets were in the room. We only ate in the restaurant one night and this was the typical buffet style meal, which was very nice.
Did not bother with the entertainment, we tended to go for walk into the town, so can't really comment.

Outside of hotel done to a high standard inside of apartments slightly shabby although clean very basically equipped no kettle but had oven. Location a bit out of the way, not actually in Los Gigantes but in Playa de Arena no decent bars or restaurants near by.
We flew with excel booked via the Expedia never again. Might be cheap but you do get what you pay for! Never again !
