On the northernmost tip of the Costa Blanca, the working town of Denia has a real Spanish feel thanks to its many tapas bars and restaurants that come alive at night. To the north of Denia you'll find the sandy beaches of Les Marines while to the south there is the rocky coastline of Les Rotes with hidden coves popular with divers and snorkellers. The town is also home to two golf courses, La Sella and Oliva Nova while on Mondays it hosts a market which is perfect for stocking up on fresh fruit and vegetables. The town is also home to a 16th castle which is well worth a visit for views of the surrounding area while the port is the place to catch a ferry to the Balearic islands.

The town was clean plenty of shops and bars same as anywhere really although it lacked the Spanish charm one would have to go on the bus to get to the entertainment the hotel was too far to walk to the town

Not a very nice beach too small lots of seaweed but , I was there in the winter. I should imagine very packed in summer. Also. no facility's eg:toilets it is more of a port.

I am a beach person. I felt hemmed in.
