A simple, quick procedure at check in, by helpful staff. The room on the first floor was a decent size with a fresh feel. One of the bedside lamps was broken as was the hairdryer, but we managed. The window had been fitted so that it wouldn't open, but there was a good, fairly quiet air conditioning system. The bathroom was stylish, with an excellent shower, complimentary toiletries, and fluffy white towels.
Breakfast was fresh fruit salad, a choice of croissants, toast, jam, soft cheese, and fruit juice. There was a coffee machine, which had milky coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, and hot water.
The location was quite a bit further out of the city than the 800 yards which is advertised. It took a good 15 minutes when walking briskly. A taxi was £4.
In short I'd describe this hotel as being of a slightly higher standard than the Travelodge chain, and on par with the Ibis.
The only reason that I wouldn't stay here again, is because it was too far out from the attractions.
