hi all
just a quick question.booked this years holiday back in march with balkan holidays for 11 nights to sunny beach.we were originally suppose to fly on the 18th at 09.10 and arrive bourgas at 14.40 and depart 29th 06.15 and arrive back 07.45 that was fine altho a letter followed saying we had to call in to humberside to pick up some more people which was also ok.
we now recieved a letter saying the flights will be direct but times have changed to dep 2200 on the 18th to arrive 03.10 bourgas and depart bourgas 08.30 on the 29th.
my question is with the origanal times we would have got there mid afternoon and enjoyed the evening etc.. but now leaving at 2200 theres little dought we wont get to the resort untill 06.00 or later on the 19th.
they are counting this as 1 night at the hotel. is this correct,i cant seem to work it out.

Not sure about the duration in nights, but they have changed your time of departure by more than 12 hours. That's the crunch in my opinion.

In particular -
My advice is take option (c) and book a new holiday. If you still want Bulgaria I think they are giving them away at the moment due to the huge drop in demand this year. This is why there are all the flight alterations.

8. If we change your booking
... Occasionally, it is necessary to make a significant change to a holiday. Examples of significant changes .... or a change to the time of your departure or return of more than twelve hours. In the event of such a significant change, we will give you the choice of:
(a) Accepting the changed arrangements as notified to you.
(b) Purchasing another holiday from us (and paying or receiving a refund in respect of any price difference)
(c) Cancelling your holiday and receiving a full refund of all money paid to us. ...
