A brilliant saving, but what happens if your flight is delayed ? If you book complete package with cruise company and your flight is delayed is it their responsibility to get you connecting flights if the ship has sailed ?

I booked the flights seperately from the cruise for my parents last October. Costa's flights weren't direct so flying Ryanair to Venice saved the hassle of changing planes. The flights cost £50 but because it was cruise only the saving was £200 off the fly-cruise price. There was plenty of cash left to extend the holiday with a stay in Venice so that took care of the worries about a delayed plane meaning a missed departure.
