my partner used to be the staple diet of mossies for years, but they never touched me. i used to claim it was the scottish blood and they left me alone because they knew i would charge them for the blood they stole from me. but as cidermonster says they seem to even attack scotsmen!
take all the precautions you can because they are a ******** nuisance and can ruin your holiday.
regarding prices, i have found it is not as cheap as it was a couple of years ago, but if you want the holiday unfortunately you just have to pay the money.
