Just a word of caution for anyone visiting fuengirola area. Take extra care of your handbag as i was unlucky enough to be a victim of an attempted bag snatch. My bag, which was over my shoulder, ( and i was holding on with hand also) was grabbed from behind whilst we ( husband, daughter and friend) were on a pedestrian crossing along the promenade at Los Boliches at approx 8.45 am on Saturday 16th August 2008. I managed to hang on to my bag and the women left the scene having been picked up by an accomplace on a motorbike. We did manage to get a photo of the women ( not sure if i can post on here the photo?) which we have passed on to the police. It was an otherwise enjoyable holiday in this area and, im sure this type of incident is an exception.
