Hi stace, have you thought about Crocs? my daughter lent me some of hers when I went to Cornwall a few weeks ago. They are very light, and a soft plasticky material.I'm going to buy some as they will be great on the stony beaches when I walk my dogs.T.

I bought some excellent Speedo swim shoes last year, they're really excellent as they're comfortable, lighweight and aren't made of the usual neoprence which sometimes takes an age to dry. They're very easy to swim in and never once have I lost one ! I usually where them in waterparks to protect my feet from the rides and the heat from the concrete pavements too.

I'll have a hunt for the receipt so I can post a link to the website I bought them from :tup
***Update*** I've found them on the Speedo website :tup They didn't have them in stock last year so bought from another site, but they're on their now and only £10.....Bargain as I think I paid £17.

Hi thanks for the replies, the speedo shoes look great and are a definate option but they are a bit too much like a trainer, ideally I am looking for a sandal type. I have a pair similar to crocs and I love them but dont think they will stay on my feet if I go swimming or jump off a boat.

Crocs are fine in the water although they tend to be so buoyant swimming is an art, however if they do come off the ywill be floating by your side :tup

Hi, Stace. If you look up JJB Sports online and put Angelina 11 in the search bar, you will get very suitable shoes for less than £3 which you could wear in the sea.

Sorry, Stace. Just enter Angelina. miss out the 11. :whoops

Funny name....5 fingers...when you where them on your feet. :rofl
