Can anybody advise me about Benalmadena Pueblo. It looks like an interesting place to stay. I was looking to stay near the beach, however how easy is it to get from pueblo to the beach. Does public transport take you or would i be relying on taxi's.
what is the night life like, restaurants and entertainment. Any advice welcome

The pueblo is lovely but much quieter than the coast. There are a few restaurants, bars and shops but not as much to do as when you stay near the beach. There is a good bus service so maybe you would be better off staying in Benalmadena and taking a trip up to the pueblo, especially if you have children.
my children get bored when we visit pueblo there isn't much for children to do mind you they are teenager's and nothing pleases them both at the moment, the views are spectacular as mentioned some good restaurants and bars, night life a few karaoke bars but not much else really a trip to Arroyo is only 10 Min's in a bus, if you want a stroll around the town
