Are these two separate places? We are renting a private villa which is apparently a 15 minute walk from the beach. We have been told by the owner that there are a few bars and restaurants there. Also that if we walk instead for approximately 45 minutes we will come to Calis itself (so I am presuming this is a town?) and there we will find lots of restaurants and bars.
Can anyone give me an idea of the layout of this area? Not knowing if there are Dolmus buses in the area I am a little worried we may be a bit isolated in our villa. We will not be renting a car.
Any information would be appreciated.

ps the beach at calis is very stoney you would proberbly be better off in hisaronu for all the bars and nite life or olu deniz
for a pictureque setting

Calis and Calis beach are basically the same.
Calis is the main residential area and Calis beach is as it says , the beach part of Calis.
You will find many bars and restaurants along the promenade. In Fethiye, which is a short bus or water taxi ride from Calis, you will find more bars and restaurants.
Hisaronu is not to everbody's taste but Olu Deniz is well worth a visit. The beach here is also stoney.

Koca Calis is the area at the far end of the bay which may be the place of your rental accom.
this has a sandy beach its only a 10 min walk along to all the main bars water taxi ect ect.of Calis
its a great place and was upgraded last year no more tracks but blocked paved and tarmac.
