Apologies if a thread already exists for this hotel, but cant seem to find the 'search' button on HT... its a wee while since I have posted!

Anyway, hopefully we will be going to the Cennet Hotel in Side next month, all going well what with the recent airspace disaster - has anyone visited this hotel this year and what should be expect? We are booked half board, drinks included in evening meals - last year we stayed in a family run hotel in Ovacik and the food was great, although no choice, but that kind of suited us as we didnt even have to decide what to order!

I have read elsewhere that there is loads of hassle in this resort, and this is after reading that it was to become a hassle free resort!? Hassle doesnt really bother me, I can ignore it quite easily, but it does put you off going into shops, cafes, bars if folk are in your face. Why dont they realise that if they just gave us a bit of space we would feel free to browse/shop/dine rather than trying to 'escape'.

Any hotel/resort info welcome! Oh, also read that the promenade was more or less completed and can walk from here to town?
