Vardaris, on Bouboulinas Street, Nicosia is supposed to be the best Gyros place on Cyprus.

Yes Kezzabelle a Gyros is a kind of meat roasted on a vertical rotisserie, then placed in a pita bread sandwich, accompanied with salad including tomato, lettuce, onions, and sauce, especially tzatziki. Gyros is a Cypriot type donor although it tends to be pork or chicken and they're delicious....they sometimes put fries in the bottom of the Pitta bread too

The best I've had was in a kebab shop at the start of Ledra Street, Nicosia, about 20 years ago.
Not fries, but cold chips at the bottom.
Yes, cold!

Washed down with a pint of freshly squeezed orange juice.
