BA still have flights to Barcelona from Heathrow - going out 25th May - returning 1st June - just under £100 each.

The snag with Ryan Air and Easyjet is that the flight schedules will probably not be released until Christmas. Also they do not tend to come out very cheap over a half term holiday period.

Then the excellent RENFE service from Passeig Gracia Station to Salou for 6euros. Takes about 1hr 15 on an air conditioned, fast and modern train

We are doing DIY to Salou in June and go a great price on flights Dublin to Barcelona return for about £65 including all taxes. I booked through Expedia. Best of luck. Sorry forgot to say we are flying with Iberia.
