AFAIK the answer WILL be no

It is now illegal to smoke in any public access building with the exception of Nursing home residents and only the residents in designated rooms

Have just returned from the Grand Burstin Hotel and smoking was allowed in the bedroom we were allocated. From speaking to other holidaymakers it seems that you have to request a non-smoking room.

As far as I am aware hotels can designate bedrooms as smoking or non-smoking and it seems that the Britania Hotels chain do cater for smokers. I am aware that smoking is not permitted in public areas.
