Arrived back on Saturday after week in Altinkum. First time there and although had a good time probably wouldn't go back - much prefer Marmaris.

Apartment in good location just off Dolphin Sq.

Most days spent wandering around town in morning & afternoons on beach. Had boat trip on Thursday which was brilliant for £13 all incl on Siesta boat. Also went on dolmus to Mavisehir to evening market and had meal watching sun set.

Ate at Iqbals on the front a couple of times which was really nice - Efes only 3Tl, also went Big Bens. Most restaurants seemed very quiet. Usually finished off with drink at Willie & Lees

Got a bit fed up with the "come into my restaurant/shop/bar" etc. Most would accept a polite no thank you but one or two would then shout something in Turkish at us - maybe it was worse because it was quiet.

Weather was brilliant & each day just seemed to get hotter & hotter.

So even though did enjoy it will look for somewhere else for next year
