just returned from bangkok and koh samui. we were right in the center of bangkok at the imperial green park the hotel gave us a upgrade in room due to the lack of punters the room was really large and very good the food in the hotel was very good but expensive so we looked else where for some cheaper food. the red shirts had just stated to march as we landed so the tour company refused to send us on any tours and told us not to wear red or yellow shirts well there was most of my wardrobe goosed. we made or own way to the grand palace but didnt risk going anyware else koh samui was unbelivable the hotel we stayed in was the kandabui resort and spa we again were upgraded in room no people in the hotel this hotel is at the far end of chaweng beach so was very quiet the hotel was superb very friendly. we went on a kayaking tour of the national park fantastic this island is beautiful and i would deffo return
