Market day in Marmaris is a Thursday, Market day in Icmeler is a Wednesday, Outside of these two you could try Datca on a Saturday, And Mugla on a Tuesday, Or Turgetreis on a Saturday, If you take a Dolmeus going to the Dolmeus Bus terminus beside Tansas supermarket cross the road watch it as that road is really really busy, Turn right and look for the statue of Attaturk on the otherside of the road your walking on turn left and walk about 20 meters and turn left then you will find Marmaris's biggest bazzar note there are many many ways into it and many ways out there are 100s of shops, For trips book these with the many shops that only selll them or try and book direct at the Harbour/marina for boat trips etc etc, You have plenty of choice and perhaps wont be able to choose them all in the time you are on Holiday as there are so many available.

we have stayed at marmaris palace hotel and its in between marmaris and icmeler but a bit too far to walk to either unless you like very long walks, so theres not a lot around the area. the dolmus does stop outside the hotel if you want to go to either of the markets
