Hi there I was just wondering if Thomsons have reduced there baggage allowance from 20kgs to 15kgs as a friend of mine has just booked a skytours holiday for 09 and she only has 15kgs each.
we are going in september this year and were worried incase it's been dropped?
Its not been dropped at present but it is your tour operator that sets your bagage allowance not airline so prob be that sky tours only allows 15kg. We going with first choice but flying with Thomson in 4 weeks and weve got 20kg.

I've not heard anything officially as yet, but FCA are introducing 15kg for summer 2009 and since they've merged with TOM, I expect they'll follow suit.

when we booked our holiday last year we were told that we had 20kgs each so I will have to pop into my local Thomsons and ask if it's still the same, I hope it is
