Hi All,
I am returning to Calangute on Sunday 9th after a 10 year break, when we stayed at the Horizon. Enjoyed my time there immensely and after reading through this excellent forum I am under no illusions that the place has changed, this time I am at the Nizmar, has anyone visited recently ? and is it an ok hotel ?

Hi All,
Just found the hotel review section (I,m a bit of a technophobe unfortunately ) and it looks like the Nizmar is an ok kind of hotel, not being the fussiest of people, clean room and a decent shower being important and also the friendliness of staff helps.
Wont be spending too much time there as I love the beach and getting out and about.
When at the Horizon 10 yrs ago there was the head waiter called Anand who came down to Panjim doing some bargaining for us, I would really like to look him up this time if he is still around. Does anyone know him ?, longshot I know. I,m sure he was a Mumbai fella
