Secondary question perhaps, what are prices like at the basic places now? Those that were between 7 and 10 euros per main course. Some people say they've gone up extortionately, but I'd rather hear from someone in the know of actually having been in the last few weeks.

A lot of the british bars have closed down and some new restaurants have openned up in there place.

Just come back from PR and Amadores.

Didn't find that prices had gone up all that much.
It only seems that way because of the value of the pound to the Euro.

Evenings at Amadores were quiet with only a few restaurants open.

Everywhere in PR was sooooooo quiet with some hotels/resorts closed altogether
