does anyone know what we should be paying for a scooter this year (yellow plate)
staying for eight weeks we are hoping for a good price.
paid 160rps/day last year
You did well I paid 200 a day.Cannot be much different this year
For two months hire you pay by the month, not a daily rate. 3,000 a month is normal for a scooter that is a couple of years old, 4,000 for a brand new one.
Just got back, paid 170 per day but later got offers of 150
You should be able to get for 100... Most of our volunteers get for between 70 and 100 Rs /- (for more than a weeks rent)...

I've got a brand new one ready for the end of the month at 150 per day.Paid 170 in November-shop around but make sure you get the yellow plate as police were very active in November.

Had one for a month Jan/Feb and paid 125rps per day.
after a lot of haggling i got ours for 1000 for the week.. but i di say if i enjoyed it i would take it again for te second week at the same price...
