Hi we stayed in the Sete area last year and really enjoyed this part of france, however we went in august it was very very busy takes ages to get anyway and parking always a bit of a problem, but in my opinion worth the effort especially if you are getting a good deal. Just depends if you can handle a lot of traffic.

Has anyone stayed in this town? And if so what's your opinion of it?
Any apartment recommendations would also be welcome!! Thanks :)

We go to Sete a lot (we were there last week), it's a lovely town with a fishing port and beaches close by. It has some fantastic seafood restaurants and there lots of places in the area to visit. It has the added advantage that Montpellier (a great city) is just up the road. Have never stayed in Sete though, we always stay in Montpellier and use Sete for days out. It does get very busy in the summer and the parking in town can get short, but there is plenty of parking further out if you don't mind a five or ten minute walk into the town.
