Hi mrfrosie...
we did Delhi...Agra and Jaipur last year...we flew there first from England then down to Goa.
Taj Mahal is magical....we saw it at 6.00am as the sun was rising...fantastic.
Jaipur is a amazing place, so much to see...
Did not like Delhi...far too many people..
But dont let that put you off...go for it...there are so many fantastic places to see in India...(we finally found that out after 20 visits to Goa)....
Have fun.... :cheers

We fly to Goa on Friday & are going to Delhi & Agra for 3 nights on the Tuesday. We have booked it all ourselves, flights, hotels & trains etc, I will report back when we return.

Make sure you take warm clothes, Delhi and Agra are cold this time of year.

Thanks for the tips and help- warm clothes aren't normally considered a packing essential!
Look forward to your report back Craig-have a great holiday!

Mrfrostie, you should be ok in March/April but anyone going in January and February should take warm clothes.
3 years ago they had ice at night in Agra when we were there late January.

its more than possible to do the trip in your time scale. Like IC we used namaste( but watch as there is another similar name). We did our trip just over 3 years ago but hopefully it would give you an idea. Our trip report is here. It was a great experience :D
