ok thanks Briar
Also if you are using the Kiroseiz beach - are you allowed to use the All Inclusive at the Kiroseiz Hotel??
Thanks
Oh dear! There is a new review on the ***** ******site for the St. George, and it doesn't make very pleasant reading! Though there are two new reviews on here that don't sound bad, so I'll stick with them!
who ever wrote that review looks like a right moaner.
Moaned about sharm moaned about hotel, moaned about egypt, moaned about thomsons, moaned about flights. Well it looks like they just don't know how to enjoy themselves.
Might as well not bothered to go on holiday if they going to take the attitude like that.

Hi guys...well...we're going there in August and have come across some sites with very bad reviews on the place....how even tho its not long been opened, it looks like its in need of repair already.....am having doubts about it myself....1st time of going to Egypt too.....please give me some feed back....
Were going for the first two weeks in august.
I am getting a bit worried. Some people give a really
good review and then some give bad.
We will have to just keep an open mind, people have different expectations.
Jeanette
Hi,we have booked to go in October.Read the good and the bad reviews and hoping that by the time we get there, all the bad things will have been resolved. It is also our first time in Egypt. Helen
My husband and I have just come back from Sharm where the temperature was between 32 and 42 throughout the week. Bliss. If you are going for a relaxing holiday this hotel is ideal. You can get to Naama Bay for £3 and Old Town for £2. The staff are extremely friendly, Omid at the Mermaid Bar was lovely and kept us entertained and our glasses full in the evening. I would advise that you take medication for dickie tummies though as I, along with several others had to visit the hotel doctor for what he called an Egyptian Cocktail injection. I would not say that this was due to this hotel but more due to the change in water, food, temperature etc and would probably have been the same at all hotels. The food was ok but probably not 4 star as it lacked variety. The animation team during the day were bad and the evening entertainment was even worse however we made lots of new friends and made our entertainment. You can now go to two beaches as the hotel's own beach has now opened as from a week and a half ago). It is situated in a Bay so not any good for snorkelling but still a nice setting. A free minibus operates to this beach. You can also use the sister hotel's beach and just need to ask at the reception for a taxi to the old beach. Here there is a jetty and it is good for snorkelling as you are at the sea here. It is also all inclusive here. Any questions, I will happily try to answer.
Glad you enjoyed it, i'm sure that it will reasure others going later in teh year, on a personal note did you see the diving school or have a go at the one suituated at the old beach?
I only snorkelled but I did see divers at the old beach - they went down at the end of the jetty as it is very deep there. I am sure you will have a great time.
I'm sure whomever goes to egypt what ever time of year and whatever is happening at the time in the Country, everyone will have a great time....just judge the place for yourselves...cuz your opinion will differ from others....so hope everyone has a great hols

You make your own fun !!!! No mattter where u are !!!!

Exactly, Louise, just enjoy yourself. We intend to at the end of July me, hubby and his two mates. We have been to several AI some not so good, but you make your own enjoyment, meet different people and chill out. Can't please everyone can you.
Going 2 St.George end of June .Me,hubby and 2 girls,14yrs and 11yrs.Looking forward 2 going.Hopefully other kids there same age as my girls,14yr old gets bored quick .Will be there for 2 weeks so plenty of time 2 explore.Would love 2 hear from anyone going same time as us.
Is the kids club open? Yes for limited periods during day - do not have kids though so not sure how good it is.
What food do they have for vegetarians? There were loads of salad and cooked veg plus pasta, rice - loads
How deep is the water at the end of the jetty, if you want to swim there? deep - you can scuba dive from end of jetty - too deep to see bottomWhat activities are there suitable for "families" - age 3 & 9 - Can't comment.
Did you get a visa or did you say "sinai only" - was there any problems with that? We were going to avoid getting visa but they really try to force you as soon as you get off plane so we gave in.
Whats around the hotel ref shops bars etc There are a few little gift shops at the hotel but other than that you have to get a taxi to anywhere.
will more than likely see you there - wife and myself have booked 1 week departing 21st May from Gatwick - price with Airtours was too good to miss - looking forward to some sunshine
Has anyone who has actually been to this hotel got any real photos that we can see, not the staged ones on their website??
