We were there last week having been before two years ago. We loved it before but were disappointed this time.
It was a young man doing the mc and he wasn't very good.
The acts we saw were abysmal and seemed to be repeated several times in the week. There was Abba, Michael Jackson, Drag Act, Hypnotist. Often they came on much later than advertised. The hypnotist was an hour late starting and we sat through half an hour of tedious repetition then we left.
We had a better night at the Sphinx although the drinks were dearer.

Have to say I'm really not that keen on the Love Boat, I know what you mean about the acts coming on late, I found that last year.

thanks for replies, does the sphinx have different shows each night or is it the same drag show?
