My friend as booked up to stay at the Lagomonte hotel in Alcudia she is going next month but today the travel company Alpha rooms as emailed saying hotel is closed and offered her a different hotel yet there are still advertising the lagomonte on there site .Ive looked on different sites and its still showing available
Could they be fobbing her off saying this maybe there have over booked it what do you think ?
We have stayed at this hotel lots off times in OCT and its always open any advice would be grateful my friend is worried sick they have offered her the belle view in leda apartments but reviews are terrible
Do you mean closed as its the end of season..if so i would ring travel agent back and get something you are happy with or change the holiday to somewhere else..acudia is a fab place but not if your in rubish accommodation. Good luck
Can you ring the hotel and ask if it's open on the selected dates? If it is, at least you'll have something solid to tell Alpharooms
Having looked on various websites including alpha this hotel has availability all through October, maybe the hotel chain are having some kind of problem with alpha, it wouldn't be the first time. We have never used them but know someone who has and they will never use alpha again and are still waiting for a refund after 14 months.
