I have just received a letter from First Choice about building work going on at the above hotel, it will now not be finished till end April 2007,as it is behind schedule. Has any one visited in the last few weeks, perhaps they could let me know how severe the building work is, as I am arriving 2nd February 2007 for 2 weeks,

Hi we stayed at the Uday Samudra Hotel in Kovalum from Nov 23rd to Dec 8th 06. The building work was not a problem, we also received notice two weeks before our holiday and thought the worst, we did complain and got a discount off our holiday. Worth a try.
I am sure you will have a great time Kerala is lovely. Having said that we are off to Calangute next week, still love Goa.

Latest on on the building work at Uday,its still on going
letter from T/COOK yesterday,we have changed to the Golden
Sands,had to cancel with full refund,then re book. at least we are on
the same flight.
